Hyderabad has so far hosted 8 test matches and 5 of them against New Zealand in 1955, 1969, 1988, 2010 & 2012 and 1 each against Australia, Banladesh and West Indies. The first two tests were drawn and the test of 1988 was won by India (10 wickets). The first 3 test matches were played at Lal Bahadur Stadium. The first Test at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium (RGICS) in 2010 against NZ and was drawn and the 2nd test played between 23 to 27th August 2012 was won by India by an innings and 115 runs. The 6th Test against Australia and the 7th Test against Banladesh and the 8th Test against West Indies were won handsomely by India.
