HCA Notification: May 22, 2023 - The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) is pleased to announce the Internal Cricket League Matches for Season 2023-24 along with new rules and regulations for team classifications into Division A, B and C and the conduct of the tournaments.

HCA TO CONDUCT UMPIRE WORKSHOP AND CERT. EXAM

This initiative aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and professionalism of umpires involved in cricket matches within the region.

HYBRID LEVEL-2 COACHES COURSE FOR INT/FC CRICKETERS
National Cricket Academy with a view to encourage International Cricketers /1st Class Cricketers to take up coaching as a profession post retirement, NCA is planning to conduct exclusive course for such cricketers. They will be exempt from appearing for Level - 1 Coaches Course and can appear Level - 2 Course cum Assessments directly.

HCA Condoles the Sad Demise of Abdul Azeem FC Cricketer
Administrator (Mr. L Nageshwara Rao (Retd Justices Supreme Court ) & the Members of the Hyderabad Cricket Association express their shock at the sudden demise of Mr. Abdul Azeem, former First-Class player of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (served player, selector and coach) today THE 18TH April 2023 in the evening.
HCA Administrators and Members convey their heartfelt condolence to the members of the bereaved family and pray God almighty to give them enough strength and courage to bear this loss.

With reference to the above SC-Order, please be informed that Hon Justice L. Nageswara Rao, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India has been appointed as a single member Committee for HCA to break the impasse and hold fair elections. Please find the attached order of the Supreme Court for SLP 6779 of 2021 for ready reference for all neccesary action and future communication .
The Order has also opined that the Supervisory Committee will not function any more and so far as the issue of signing power is concerned, that will also be dealt with by Justice L. Nageswara Rao.

This is to inform that an open selection for under-14 Boys cricket players to select HCA Men’s Under-14 South Zone cricket team, which will be held on Friday i.e., 20th Jan 2023 @ 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at HCA Gymkhana Grounds, Hyderabad.
Players attending the selection trials should wear white dress and have to bring the Original Date of Birth Certificate. They should be born between 01-09-2008 to 31-08-2010 are only eligible. Certificates along with Xerox copies for verification and return.

Individuals/Firms/Companies that hold valid agreements/contracts in connection to the corporate boxes with Hyderabad Cricket Association are hereby requested to submit the copy of the contract to Mr. Mir Sami Ali of The Hyderabad Cricket Association at the RGICS, Uppal,(Phone No: +91 76749 00509 on or before 09th of January 2023. The Contract holders of Corporate boxes can contact HCA on hycricket@rediffmail.com or send their detailed contracted agreements on the same .
Kindly ensure that the copies of valid corporate boxes contract is submitted before the due date stated above to avoid unnecessary hassle of claims being void.
Please be informed that the contract document is required for validation in connection with international matches that are hosted by HCA at RGICS, Uppal.

D.S Chalapathi who has been passed away this morning at the age of 72 years due to massive cardiac arrest.

PRESIDENTIAL STATEMENT ON MEETING OF 11-DEC-2022
It has been brought to my attention that some members are trying to convene a meeting on December 11, 2022.
We are aware that here is a supervisory committee appointed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court.
We are also aware that the Hon'ble High Court of Telangana has been instructing petitioners seeking relief on matters connected with HCA to petition the Supervisory Committee.
In this background, I am compelled to state that conducting a meeting without obtaining the permission of the Supervisory Committee is inherently illegal & does not have any sanctity. The connected matters have been brought to the Hon'ble High Court of Telangana & the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in different ways but no orders have been passed.
Rachakonda police has also issued an intimation that any requests for police bandobast for meetings in HCA must come along with a permission from the Supervisory Committee to hold such meetings.
In view of the above, the meeting on December 11, 2022 is illegal & without legal sanctity & necessary preventive & precautionary action will be taken in this regard.

This is to inform that entries are invited from various Schools & Junior colleges situated in twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad for Under-16 Inter Schools & Junior Colleges Cricket Tournament to be conducted by the Hyderabad Cricket Association.
The cutoff date for the age is (SHOULD BE BORN ON OR AFTER 01-09-2006)
Entry fee for the tournament is Rs.2000/- per team towards charges for registration of players and issue of identity cards. Last date for submission of entries with entry fee is the 22nd Oct 2022 at the HCA office at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad between 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on. The entries will be on first cum first basis.

CLARIFICATION WITH REGARD TO HCA SGM RUMOURS
NOTIFICATION REGARDING ILLEGAL SGM : 17-NOV-2022
It has been brought to the attention of HCA that a resolution for holding an SGM signed by 3 members is floating around the corridor.
The agenda for the SGM is to "appoint an election officer for conduct of elections" Under rule 9(c) of the bye-laws "a requisition signed by not less than 1/3 of full members of HCA specially stating the business to be transacted at such meeting" is a pre-condition. Such a request has to be submitted to the Secretary HCA & such meeting can be convened by the Secretary.
Under rule 33, an electoral officer shall be appointed by the APEX council only. Further, on the current situation in HCA is one in which numerous enquiries into complaints of illegal memberships, multiple clubs, lack of equanimous representation between districts of Telangana by the Supervisory Committee appointed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India is underway.
With the appointment of the committee,all matters of HCA including the matters raised for enquiry is sub-judice & therefore, further actions under the bye-laws can happen only after the leave of the Supreme Court is obtained after submission of enquiry report by the committee & approval for implementation of recommendations made by the committee is obtained.

Kindly note entry to Gymkhana Grounds where physical tickets are dispensed is restricted. Hence, ensure you collect your physical tickets by showing the email confirmation received during online purchase, a valid Government approved ID proof and submitting a photocopy of the same. In case you are collecting on someone else's behalf an authority letter clearly stating the same with the photocopy of both' the ID proofs will be mandatory.
We are thrilled to host all of our cricket fans to watch the T20 International match to be held on September 25 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal.

PRESS NOTE from President W.R.T Alleged AGM of HCA
Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has not conducted any general body meeting on June 19, 2022. We have seen reports appearing in the electronic media that a group of alleged members of HCA gathered at a hotel & allegedly conducted a meeting which, if true, is illegal & in violation of the constitution. Any resolution passed in such a meeting is in violation of clause 44 of the HCA constitution & cannot be considered an amendment.
HCA is not aware of any order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court that permits HCA to increase the number of elected members to the APEX Council in addition to the amended bye-laws approved by the Hon'ble SC as part of the implementation of Lodha reforms in its orders passed in 2018.
