Individuals/Firms/Companies that hold valid agreements/contracts in connection to the corporate boxes with Hyderabad Cricket Association are hereby requested to submit the copy of the contract to Mr. Mir Sami Ali of The Hyderabad Cricket Association at the RGICS, Uppal,(Phone No: +91 76749 00509 on or before 09th of January 2023. The Contract holders of Corporate boxes can contact HCA on hycricket@rediffmail.com or send their detailed contracted agreements on the same .

Kindly ensure that the copies of valid corporate boxes contract is submitted before the due date stated above to avoid unnecessary hassle of claims being void.

Please be informed that the contract document is required for validation in connection with international matches that are hosted by HCA at RGICS, Uppal.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE ON DEMISE OF MR.CHALAPATHI

D.S Chalapathi who has been passed away this morning at the age of 72 years due to massive cardiac arrest.

PRESIDENTIAL STATEMENT ON MEETING OF 11-DEC-2022

It has been brought to my attention that some members are trying to convene a meeting on December 11, 2022.

We are aware that here is a supervisory committee appointed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

We are also aware that the Hon'ble High Court of Telangana has been instructing petitioners seeking relief on matters connected with HCA to petition the Supervisory Committee.

In this background, I am compelled to state that conducting a meeting without obtaining the permission of the Supervisory Committee is inherently illegal & does not have any sanctity. The connected matters have been brought to the Hon'ble High Court of Telangana & the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in different ways but no orders have been passed.

Rachakonda police has also issued an intimation that any requests for police bandobast for meetings in HCA must come along with a permission from the Supervisory Committee to hold such meetings.

In view of the above, the meeting on December 11, 2022 is illegal & without legal sanctity & necessary preventive & precautionary action will be taken in this regard.

CLARIFICATION WITH REGARD TO HCA SGM RUMOURS

NOTIFICATION REGARDING ILLEGAL SGM : 17-NOV-2022
It has been brought to the attention of HCA that a resolution for holding an SGM signed by 3 members is floating around the corridor.

The agenda for the SGM is to "appoint an election officer for conduct of elections" Under rule 9(c) of the bye-laws "a requisition signed by not less than 1/3 of full members of HCA specially stating the business to be transacted at such meeting" is a pre-condition. Such a request has to be submitted to the Secretary HCA & such meeting can be convened by the Secretary.

Under rule 33, an electoral officer shall be appointed by the APEX council only. Further, on the current situation in HCA is one in which numerous enquiries into complaints of illegal memberships, multiple clubs, lack of equanimous representation between districts of Telangana by the Supervisory Committee appointed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India is underway.

With the appointment of the committee,all matters of HCA including the matters raised for enquiry is sub-judice & therefore, further actions under the bye-laws can happen only after the leave of the Supreme Court is obtained after submission of enquiry report by the committee & approval for implementation of recommendations made by the committee is obtained.

PRESS NOTE from President W.R.T Alleged AGM of HCA

Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has not conducted any general body meeting on June 19, 2022. We have seen reports appearing in the electronic media that a group of alleged members of HCA gathered at a hotel & allegedly conducted a meeting which, if true, is illegal & in violation of the constitution. Any resolution passed in such a meeting is in violation of clause 44 of the HCA constitution & cannot be considered an amendment.

HCA is not aware of any order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court that permits HCA to increase the number of elected members to the APEX Council in addition to the amended bye-laws approved by the Hon'ble SC as part of the implementation of Lodha reforms in its orders passed in 2018.

HCA ANNOUNCES FREE COACHING CAMP FOR UNDER 14 & UNDER 16 BOYS

Hyderabad Cricket Association is starting a free coaching camp for under 14 boys & under 16 boys. the camp will be held at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.

THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE CAMP ARE AS FOLLOWS:

UNDER -14 CATEGORY ABOVE 12 YEARS ARE ELIGIBLE
UNDER-16 CATEGORY ABOVE 14 YEARS ARE ELIGIBLE

The selection would be held on 24th & 25th June 2022 at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium from 07:00 am. Documents (Aadhar copy, birth certificate, school Bonafide) needs to be produced to be eligible for the selections.

As you are aware that World is going through tough time due to spread of Novel Covid -19 Virus, We Hyderabad Cricket Association needs to take care of our OFFICIALS - Umpires & Scorers who have been giving their services to our Association from long time, some of our Officials who are dependent on HCA for a livelihood needs our support in this time of crisis.

HCA have released a amount of Rs. 3000/- to each individual Umpires & Scorers who are totally dependent on HCA.

NOTICE REF: COA MEETING HELD IN January 2019
During the review meeting conducted by COA in the month of January 2019 it was observed that there were lot of advance pending with Managers and Club Secretaries ( as brought out by Auditors and Accounts Dept). Such pending advances as on 23.07.2019 are around Rs.24.00 Lakhs. Advances pertaining to the period prior to 31.03.2018 are around Rs.19.00 Lakhs. The lists(two nos) having details of Name, Advance pending, since when pending, purpose of advance are attached below. As HCA could not realize in spite of their best efforts,the COA calls upon all these individuals to settle the advances on or before Monday 5th August 2019 failing which we will be constrained to take action as may be necessary for recovery and report the same to the Ombudsman for further action. Shri Santosh Vithal Daware, Sr. Deputy Accountant General (Admin) is the CAG of Hyderabad Cricket Association. An email was sent to the BCCI on 25th Feb. 2022 making Allegations against the President of HCA and Apex Council w.r.t irregularities in Management of HCA from the CAG using a fake Email ID.

BCCI responded with a Notice to HCA asking for explanations. Shri Daware using his official ID as a Government Servant which is vithalds@cag.gov.in denied sending any email to BCCI with allegations against HCA. The fake email gained the attention of the Media and an article on the same has been published in the Times Of India and Deccan Chronicle dated March 17, 2022.

Mohammed Azharuddin the president of HCA has communicated with BCCI in this regard with copies to all important members of BCCI’s governing body and requested them to take necessary action against the perpetrators.

The Hyderabad Cricket Association on behalf of its Honorary President Mr. Mohammed Azharuddin and other Members of the association, congratulates the Indian Contingent who played extremely well and won the hearts of the cricket Followers.

The Honorary President Mr. Mohammed Azharuddin said I take this Opportunity to congratulate the Players and Support staff of the Team India at the U-19 World Championship. They performed well thought the tournament and their on-field performances were fantastic. He also said that the team also showed grit, determination and courage to bounce back strongly despite the Covid -19 scare. They were focused and showed high level of maturity throughout the course of the Tournament .

The Honorary President of HCA - Mr. Mohammed Azharuddin true to his earlier announcement of bestowed the cash award of Rs.10,00,000/- on N Rishith Reddy on behalf of HCA and wished him well for all his future endeavors with the Hyderabad Cricket Association Team and India U-19 Team.

All the Affiliated Members and the Senior Players of the Col. C.K. Nayudu 2021-22 also congratulated and felicitated Rishith with their best wishes . The Hyderabad Cricket Association is Proud of this talented Young Lad and wish him success for all the future endeavors.

Apex Council is planning the development of cricket grounds owned it and its affiliated Association in Districts of Mahboobnagar and Nizambad. The plan is to build pavalion, turf wickets and better practice facilities for impovement of the game at District level.

74th INDEPENDENCE DAY, FLAG HOISTING CEREMONY .

On the occasion of 74th Independence Day, Flag hoisting ceremony was held at 11.00 a.m. at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Up pal, Hyderabad. Apex Council Members and HCA Staff were present on the Occasion.

The Hyderabad Cricket Association Staff which were instrumental in effectively performing their duties during the pandemic lockdown period and were timely available in emergency service in the office without fear of Corona, Mr. V Raju, Mr. Prabhakar, Mr. Pankaj, Mr. Rajshekar, Mr. Suresh (Staff & Security Personal) were felicitated by The Apex Council Members.

The ceremony included a shawl, a garland of flowers, a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize.

As you are aware that World is going through tough time due to spread of Novel Covid-19 Corona Virus, in connection with it BCCI has asked every associated member to contribute atleast 50 lakhs towards Prime Ministers fund. These funds will be directly deducted from the annual subsidy granted to the Associate Cricket Associations of BCCI. The Hyderabad Cricket Association has welcomed the proposal and has decided to contribute the same for the Prime Minister Fund to fight the pandemic.

HCA office-bearers and members of the Hyderabad Cricket Association, expressed their sincere appreciation to the way front end leadship of the Hon. Chief Minister Sri Chandrasekhar Rao in battling on the dreaded Coronavirus in the State

In tune with his commitment and passion in implementing the measures, The Hon.Secretary, on behalf of HCA President Mohd Azharuddin, and the members of the Apex Council, offered the facility of Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Uppal to set up isolation centres. The Stadium has 40 big rooms which can take care of some of the virus-affected patients in a quarantined environment.

The Offer was made to the Hon.Chief Minister by a letter from Hon.Secretary wherein he concluded "We will be more than happy to be at your service in this grim battle against the virus which has become a global threat."

HCA- Interschool Tournament for Under-14

Entries are invited from various Schools for Under-14 tournament to be conducted by the Hyderabad Cricket Association for the 2019 season.

Entry fee for the Tournament is Rs. 1000/- towards charges for registration of players.

The Schools are requested to submit Original Birth Certificates, School Bonafied of each player and Team list of the players in School Letter Head with Stamp and seal of the school at the time of registration. The entries will be entitled on first come first basis
